SPEAKING:PICTURE DESCRIPTION

Oral exams at the EOI consist of two parts. In the first part, you will be asked to describe and compare two or three pictures.

 INTERMEDIATE

You’ll be shown two or three pictures. At this stage, the pictures you will be shown are  just an excuse to talk about the topic suggested in the photographs. Refer to the DISCUSSION TOPICS section for more pictures and questions about the topic suggested, which might give you an idea of  what you can talk about. Some useful links follow

  1. I’m currently teaching Intermediate courses but to be honest , the only difference between an Intermediate level and an Advanced one, as regards hints or tips for Picture description, is grammar and vocabulary adequacy . Tips and hints are just the same .

    I don’t know what exams you’re taking. In the EOI exams, in this part there are no questions, at least in Asturias.

    I want to guide the following:
    I can understand English when two people are talking but i find it difficult to talk in english to them .
    What do you suggest?
